Amy is a solicitor who qualified in May 2015. She read Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds after which she worked in the charity sector. Amy completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Amy worked as a paralegal and completed her training contract at a legal aid firm, Miles & Partners LLP, where her main practice areas were family and mental health law. During her training contract, Amy was seconded to Wesley Gryk Solicitors in January 2013 and returned to the firm in September 2015. Amy has volunteered with several different organisations – the Disability Law Centre, Southwark Law Centre, the New Bridge Foundation and currently volunteers as a Legal Advisor at Citizens Advice Bureau Richmond.
