Charles Bishop is a paralegal at Wesley Gryk Solicitors, working for senior partner Wesley Gryk. Charles read Law with French Law at Wadham College, Oxford, having completed a year abroad at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in 2015. At the end of his year abroad, Charles interned at the Académie Diplomatique Internationale on a joint project with the International Bar Association. During his undergraduate studies, Charles established a number of student-run organisations campaigning and researching on modern slavery and anti-trafficking issues.
After graduating in 2016, Charles studied for a Masters in Law at the London School of Economics, specialising in areas of international and human rights law. He has volunteered at the Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit (ATLEU) and at Stonewall Housing, and is currently assisting with research on comparative child trafficking frameworks across jurisdictions for a revised edition of a practitioner’s book on child abuse.
