Mala is a trainee solicitor and joined Wesley Gryk Solicitors in November 2016. She studied French and German at the University of Bristol and spent her third year abroad in La Réunion and Berlin. She subsequently studied the GDL and LPC at the University of Law which she completed in 2014.
Mala went on to begin her career in immigration law at a legal aid firm, working predominantly with detained clients, before moving to the private client immigration team at Kingsley Napley LLP in May 2015. In her spare time, Mala works closely with a number of organisations assisting people in and around Calais, and volunteers at the Waterloo Legal Advice Service. She also co-runs an intersectional feminist group called Wolf Whistled, who run bi-annual events on subjects such as race and xenophobia.
