Dmitri is a solicitor at Wesley Gryk Solicitors. Dmitri first joined the firm as a paralegal in 2019, qualifying with us as a solicitor in 2021. In 2022 he left the firm to work in the charity sector, assisting Ukrainians and other nationals affected by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to secure their immigration status in the UK. Dmitri re-joined the firm in September 2023 and his practice covers a wide range of immigration, asylum, and nationality law matters.
Dmitri regularly assists clients with applications made on the basis of their family or private life, including partners and parents. He has extensive experience of applications under other immigration routes, such as the EU Settlement and Ukraine schemes, as well as the Global Talent and Skilled Worker routes. Dmitri has prepared asylum claims by clients from a range of backgrounds and has particular expertise in claims made by individuals from Eastern Europe, and strong background knowledge of regions such as Latin America and Central Asia. Dmitri is often instructed in appeals to the Immigration and Asylum Tribunals.
Dmitri speaks Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian, and is conversational in French, Portuguese and Belarusian.
