Now that the United Kingdom has left the European Union, many European nationals and their family members are concerned about the consequences for their immigration status. We are UK specialists in this area and can help with both straightforward and complex matters.

In most circumstances, those European nationals and their family members who were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020 and wished to remain here, were required to register under the EU Settlement Scheme for pre-settled or settled status before the deadline of 30 June 2021.

We have expertise in advising people on the complex legal and practical issues which arise from the EU Settlement Scheme and can assist with all applications, including late applications or if your case has been refused. We advise on applications made as a partner, applications made as the primary carer of a British child, those made after a marital breakdown, applications made after a long-term illness, or applications made on the basis of dependency. We also advise on the eligibility of family members to join European nationals in the UK and the naturalisation requirements for European nationals who wish to become British.

Our expertise in this area is acknowledged by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession.

To find out more about your current position and the options available to you, please contact us at contact@gryklaw.com or on 020 7401 6887.
