Vacancy for Immigration Solicitor
Wesley Gryk Solicitors LLP is a niche private immigration and nationality practice in central London, rated Band 1 by both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500, and considered to be one of the UK’s leading immigration practices. Our work covers the full range of immigration, asylum and nationality law, including immigration for personal, family, study and business purposes; EEA free movement; international protection and human rights cases; and nationality work. We regularly assist clients with in-country and entry clearance applications and appeals to the immigration tribunals as well as judicial review. Our work is privately funded with a strong commitment to pro bono work.
We are seeking to appoint a qualified solicitor to join our small and friendly practice, and will consider candidates from all levels PQE. The successful candidate must be able to manage his/her own caseload under the regular supervision of one of our partners. S/he must demonstrate a willingness and ability to provide high quality legal advice, with excellent communication skills, and a commitment to equality and human rights, and to promoting the rights of migrants.
The role is permanent (subject to satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period) and the salary will be according to experience, within the range £34,000 to £45,000p.a., for a full-time position with a bonus scheme.
